Roger was my first boyfriend. My first date with him was to a Grade 7 School Dance, where even though it was a date, the boys were on one side of the room and the girls on the other. We danced a lot that night. We did not date for very long, primarily because of the distance I lived from town. My memories of him are all fond, and I was sad to hear of his passing.
